Middle Creek High School named its 3rd Hall of Fame class this past fall. Now you can honor them by attending the 3rd Annual Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet, which includes dinner, entertainment and the awards ceremony. This year’s inductees include: Trey Geiger (Men’s Cross Country & Track – ’10), Nate Harris (Men’s Football & Track – ’08), Lindsey Strucko (Women’s Volleyball, Basketball, & Indoor & Outdoor Track – ’06), Tom Tankelewicz (Men’s Basketball – ’09), and Jessica Van Hulst (Women’s Indoor & Outdoor Track – ’09).
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 at the McKimmon Center on the campus of N.C. State University. Tickets are $25 per person. Tickets purchased online using the PayPal form below will be available for pickup at the event. Tickets can also be purchased at the school front office with cash only, from Stampede Club Board Members or from HOF Committee members by cash or check. HOF Committee members are: Kim Caulk, Staci Johnson, Rose MacNaughton, Barbara Ruffin, Peggy Smith and Walt Fuller. For a list of Stampede Club board members, click on the Contact Us tab.
It is once again time to apply for the annual Middle Creek High School Stampede Club scholarships. To learn more about the application process and criteria used for selection, visit the Scholarship section of this site.
The January general membership meeting of the Stampede Club meeting will be Wednesday, Jan. 28. It will be in the Commons area and begin at 6:30 p.m. Desserts will be served.
A general membership meeting originally scheduled for this evening (Jan. 14), must be postponed. The Wake County Public School System has said that no activities can take place after 5:30 p.m. today due to the weather.
A new date for this general membership meeting has not yet been set. Check back for an update, or sign up for email notifications when new posts are made to the site. Look for the Email Notifications block in the skinny right column of any page on the site.

The Nov. 1 Stampede Club Auction will include many great items to bid on, and to add to the excitement of the evening a used car will be raffled. The car is a 2006 Ford Five Hundred graciously donated by Sanford Auto Brokers. This newly inspected car has 122,000 miles and a pristine interior and exterior. The approximate retail value is up to $5,700.
The car will be on display at the Oct. 10 and Oct.31 home football games. It will also be at the auction, where the winner will be announced. The winner does not have to be present to claim the car.
Raffle tickets are available online or at the above locations for $20.00 each or 3 for $50.00.
The raffle drawing will include second and third place prices. Second place win a six oil change/tire rotation packages from Hendrick GMC (value of $200.00+). Third place wins an auto package that includes a car wash, tool kit and other goodies (value of $100.00+).

The Stampede Club hosts this annual (seriously fun and delicious) Homecoming Community Cookout to kick-off the Homecoming game day.
BBQ plates will be available during student lunches, continuing through tailgate time on Friday, October 10th from 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
Plates can be picked up at the baseball field, with tables set up to eat outside. Plates are $8 and include 1/2 chicken, 2 sides and a roll.
Purchase tickets during at home football games before the Oct. 10. Ticket purchases at other times can be arranged by emailing Debbie Sholar.

The Stampede Club is excited to announce that this year’s Stampede to Excellence Auction will be held at Middle Creek High School on Saturday, November 1st. Mark your calendars and join us as we return to a live event format at Middle Creek. This year’s festivities will include great food, live entertainment, lots of friendly competition, and hours of fun!
We are collecting an assortment of unique packages and popular items, including vacation rentals, restaurant gift cards, golf outings, sports tickets, MCHS spirit wear, player-signed sports equipment and much more. Doors open at 5:30pm with the live auction starting at 6:30. The silent auction will run throughout the evening.

For a limited time only, we will be taking orders for MCHS spirit football jerseys. The cost will be $45 and orders can be placed at the following times:
- During all lunches on Wed., Sept. 3 and Thurs., Sept 4
- At the apparel table during football game on Friday, Sept. 5
- During Open House, Sept. 9
Orders must be received by 3:00 pm, Thursday, Sept. 11. There will be no extra jerseys ordered!
